What you bring forward
- In your new role, you will protect the intellectual property of innovative pharmaceutical products and technologies by developing and implementing a holistic patent strategy together with our Head of Research and Development.
- As part of this, you will manage our patent portfolio, monitor deadlines and renewals and continuously work with our research and development teams to identify patentable innovations.
- In cooperation with an external patent attorney, you will coordinate the preparation and filing of patent applications and also monitor possible patent infringements.
- In addition, you will carry out analyses and searches on patents and advise our specialists and managers on patent issues – your expertise forms an essential basis for forward-looking strategic decisions.
- In your role, you will act as an interface to various teams, promote awareness of IP rights and drive the integration of IP-relevant processes into our day-to-day business.
Your recipe for success
- Degree in patent engineering, alternatively in natural sciences, chemistry or biology with further training in patent law
- Experience in the creation and management of patent portfolios
- Expertise in the strategic planning and implementation of patent strategies
- Ideally pharmaceutical or medical knowledge
- Personally, you will impress with your independent way of working and strong organizational skills, which will enable you to perform all IP tasks.
