First no company outing, then no Christmas party. Corona has also ruined beautiful traditions at the pharmaceutical developer AMW from Warngau. However, the company has created a replacement. Monday before Christmas, some employees were amazed when two Santas were in front of the camera with a history book to tune in to a Christmas Day via video message.

The company has invested the saved budget of the company outing and Christmas party in gifts that were handed over to the employees after the video message by the executives outdoor. Subsequently, representatives of the company handed over two cheques in the amount of 1250 Euros each to the Oberland Werkstätten and the Nachbarschaftshilfe Warngau.

The employees who work home office received their surprise with the decorated company’s own truck delivered to the front door. At the wheel were two Santas, who normally serve as managing directors. Philipp Karbach and Friedrich Tegel.

The company wanted to give something back – to the employees, “who had a lot to shoulder in this special year,” explains HR consultant Corinna Seidling, and the region, after the AMW had grown significantly this year against the general trend.
